Overview

CNA broadcasts Christian content created for the people of North Africa and the North African communities in Europe and the Middle East.

CNA is the first to broadcast productions in the various languages spoken and understood in North Africa (Arab and Berber) and in French, with a biblical perspective. CNA speaks to the heart of each of its viewers by offering programs in their mother tongues.

In a statement, CNA’s founder, Ali Arhab, said, “The launch of CNA … is really an answer to prayer, a promise for all North Africans living at a decisive period in their history. Through CNA, they will discover the love of Christ for them and his call to embody it, through the Church, in nations that are thirsty for justice!”

CNA broadcasts a vast range of programming including life stories, documentaries, talk shows, and educational programs; lifestyle series including women’s, men’s and children’s programming; musical performances, dramas, films, shorts, and much more. To source all this content, Channel North Africa works with a network of partners sharing the same values.

Channel North Africa is a French cultural association created in 2000 with a goal to produce and broadcast media content that proclaims the gospel and teaches the Bible for the region of North Africa and to North Africans living outside the region.

You are for me a gift from God, through whom I discovered my ancestors of whom I am proud because they were Christians. I bear conscience of their suffering in the early centuries of Christianity in North Africa. This gives me more courage and confidence in Christ to endure what may await me in this country. Despite the fact that I am a new believer, I feel a great responsibility to be a Christian. There is no one else in Morocco with whom I can share these things. You are my beloved heavenly brothers. A lady called us. She was in the process of divorcing her husband, because he beat her. We prayed for her. She called us back later full of gratitude because things were settled in her marriage. Her husband had asked for forgiveness for the first time after 30 years of marriage

I am a father. I am calling you first of all to encourage you in the work you are doing, and I love your programs. One day I was touched by one of your TV Programs, and Jesus touched me. I spent 3 days and couldn't sleep, it was only then I realized that Jesus loved me. It was the first time in my life I was acquainted with love. I was a practising Muslim. I read the Koran and always sought something to fill the void in my life but I always felt worse after finishing some reading from the Koran. I have become a believer the day Pope John Paul II died. My friends tried to dissuade me and that it was too dangerous for me and my family, the more they tried to dissuade me the stronger I became in my faith. I have felt someone empowering me and granting me boldness. I was aware of a new life in me and that I was born again into another person. This Christ I have now has brought joy into my life.

I am a girl from Algeria I have been puzzled about the story of Jesus. Should I leave Islam and become a Christian? Will God forgive me for that?

We are blessed to see how God has used this Ministry to proclaim the Gospel by the Satellite. Hundreds of people contact us from the countries of North Africa and even Europe to tell us how much they were touched by the gospel preached. For example, during a trip to Algeria, while I was waiting beside the aircraft for my luggage, before boarding the plane I saw the driver of the vehicle carrying the baggage. He paused and stared at me with his eyes and then came to me and asked me if I was a journalist. Right then I didn't make the connection with the Christian programs I presented on TV so I replied that I was not a journalist. But he was sure and he told me he watched my programs every Thursday. Thank you dear brothers and sisters for your prayer and your support, we are happy to belong to God's family so that together we may be one in Him."
